Allan Stimson from Harlow, Essex pleads guilty to attempting to meet a child under the age of 16 following grooming.
Stimson started grooming one of our decoys back in May 2017 and arranged to meet them in Harlow where he was arrested by officers from Harlow CID.
Stimson finished his shift at a local bowls club and then turned up to meet a someone he thought was a child. He aimed to collect the child and return to his home to have sex.
Stimson a widow who lives alone, regularly used online chat rooms to attempt to communicate with underage children. He is still active online and often approaches young boys, but now stating he only wants sex with 16+.
After a year long police investigation he was charged and appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates court where he pleaded guilty to the charge.
After Essex Police searched his devices, they further charged him with possessing extreme pornographic image portraying an act of intercourse with a dead animal. He was also charged with two counts of making indecent images of children.
He will now have to attend Chelmsford Crown Court on the 26th September, he will then have to plea for his additional charges.
