Chris Chatters from Thaxted, Essex was arrested in May 2017 after attempting to groom someone who he believed was a young boy for the purposes of sex.
Chatters turned up at the agreed location and was met by officers from Essex Police. He was then taken into custody and interviewed.
After further investigations he was also charged with further offences of indecent images of children. Chatters of Little Maypole, Thaxted lives just a stones throw from a children’s playground, which is every parents nightmare.
Once he attends court for his plea hearing we will update you. If he pleads not guilty, we look forward to seeing him at the trial with our new media team outside the court.
