Robert Douglas William Young of Clacton, Essex has been charged with online grooming of a child for the purposes of sex.
Young was talking with one of our decoys for some time, he then felt it his work was done and the child would be good to meet.
He arranged with the decoy to meet them at a location in Essex where he was met by officers from Essex Police who took him into custody.
Young a driving instructor in Clacton and previously from Waltham Abbey, quickly started to text his customers after release with a new telephone number as his mobile was seized by Police saying he had a problem with his phone.
When Young attends Crown Court for his plea hearing, we will update you. If he decides to plea not guilty, we look forward to meeting him for the trial with our new media team.
